Terms and Conditions - West Hampstead Storage
Welcome to West Hampstead Storage. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage facilities and services. By renting a storage unit with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Rental Agreement
When you rent a storage unit, you enter into a legally binding contract with West Hampstead Storage. The terms outlined herein apply to all rental agreements unless otherwise specified in writing.
1.1 Unit Assignment
All units are assigned based on availability at the time of rental. We reserve the right to change your unit as necessary.
1.2 Payment Terms
- Monthly Rent: Rent is due on the first day of each month.
- Late Fees: A late fee will be applied if payment is not received within five days.
- Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required upon signing the rental agreement.
2. Use of Storage Units
You may use your storage unit only for lawful purposes. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods
- Stolen property
- Firearms without proper authorization
Any violation of these terms may result in termination of your rental agreement and removal of your belongings.
3. Access to Unit
Customers have access to their storage units during our business hours. Extended access may be available upon request.
3.1 Security Measures
West Hampstead Storage employs various security measures, including surveillance cameras and secure entry systems, to protect your belongings.
4. Liability
We take reasonable precautions to protect your items; however, West Hampstead Storage is not liable for loss or damage due to:
- Fire, flood, or other natural disasters
- Burglary or theft
- Acts of God
- Customer negligence
It is recommended that you maintain your own insurance for stored items.
5. Termination of Agreement
You may terminate your rental agreement by providing written notice 30 days in advance. We reserve the right to terminate the agreement immediately for non-payment or violation of terms.
5.1 Removal of Belongings
Upon termination, you must remove all items from your storage unit. Failure to do so may result in the disposal of your belongings.
6. Amendments
West Hampstead Storage reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of amendments will be provided to customers via email or posted prominently at our facility.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which West Hampstead Storage operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
8. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between parties.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.
By using West Hampstead Storage services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
